Tanya Huff
Canadian writer, mostly fanmous for her Vicky Nelson/Henry Fitzroy series of books. Anyone lucky enough to be near a Con, signing or reading by Tanya Huff should go there...it's well worth it.
Included in my library are the following books:
- The Keeper's Chronicles -
This series is a personal favorite of mine. The Keeper's Chronicles is a fast paced, funny Urban Fantasy.
1. Summon the Keeper (signed at TorCon3)
I first heard of Tanya Huff at TorCon3 in 2003, where she gave a lecture on humor in fantasy/SF. After that session I walked over to the Con-marketplace and bought 5 of her books: parts 1 & 2 of The Keeper's Chronicles and parts 1-3 of the Blood series.
Summon the Keeper didn't let me down in any way!
2. The Second Summoning
The second summoning follows close at the heels of book one, letting us deeper into the fantastic world of Claire and Diana Hansen, and the cold Canadian winter. Easily as good as the first book.
3. Long Hot Summoning
The third book in the series is no exception from the rest. Darker and with a little less cats, it's still a fast paced, rollercoaster that makes you want to read and smile at the same time...unless you chuckle loudly, making people around you twitch nervously.
- Blood Series-
1. Blood Price
2. Blood Trail
3. Blood Lines
4. Blood Pact
5. Blood Debt
- Smoke Series -
1. Smoke & Shadows
And from "Elf Fantastic"
A Midsummer night's Dream Team
